Odyssey (Young Reading Series Three)

This is a brand new retelling of Homer’s “Odyssey”, the story of a clever but unlucky Greek hero who just wants to get home…but fate has other ideas. It is a new title in “Young Reading Series Three”, part of the Usborne Reading Programme. It is aimed at fully confident readers who can manage sub-plots and complex sentence structure but don’t have the stamina for standard-length books. It is developed in consultation with Alison Kelly, who is a Principal Lecturer in Education and an early reading specialist from Roehampton University.
